When playing online poker, a player is very often dealt a hand which includes an Ace card and another one that is less than 10. Hands like this often contain a weak Ace mainly because the kicker is not always a strong one. A good example of a weak Ace would be a hand like Ace and Two through Ace and Nine. However, an Ace and Ten may not really fit into this category. If the hand of two cards are suited, a player may wish to differentiate them a little bit.
Weak Aces generally come across in a poker game as an Ace that is backed up with a low Kicker. In Texas Hold’em, the weak Ace at online gambling sites can be a very interesting hand in poker. It can win a player lots of money and vice versa. Many poker players seem to like games with suited Aces probably because they think they might end up with a draw to the nut flush. Sometimes it happens, but most times does not. Other terms used to describe a weak Ace are “Soft Ace,” “Small Ace” and “Ace Rag.” So many players keep chasing down the nut flush but continue to throw money away doing so.
