Aussie Millions 2009 Busted From Its Traditional Tourney Schedule

Aussie Millions Poker Championship 2009 busted from its traditional tourney schedule on Sunday, where there was a spread of a cash-game with a million-dollar buy-in from a number of famed aggressive millionaire players from around the world. The game began as a battle among two of the biggest names of all in poker, Tom Dwan versus Patrik Antonius.

It is well known that the aggressiveness of Dawn and his daring play had caused him to be one of the cash game stars in the online poker zone.

Patrik Antonius, with his good looks is also one of the feared players as a top-tier with his passion and huge willingness to gamble big.

The duos were also in to a million-dollar online challenge declared by Dwan, and they got together as a promotion with regards to their ongoing battle as an opportunity to gather some real serious “live” money. The game was real serious and real massive and both of these players did happen to carry cases of bills to pay for the table stakes. Imagine!

The game began off heads up, where Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius were fighting in a turning round of no-limit hold’em and pot-limit Omaha. The blinds for these games were $1,000/2, 0000 and the game toggled every twenty hands.

Tom Dwan began with AUD $2 million and Antonius with $1.5 million, and the action began. Dwan started with $1 million to play to have things begin. Other big names joined the table and Antonius missed out on the entire pot and Robl raked in the pot, doubling his stack….the rest is history….
