The Oklahoma State Championship of Poker is set to begin this week, beginning with a $100 buy-in Jack and Jill tourney today. The ladies are likely to display their skill level on Thursday, February 12, 2009.
The buy-in for the ladies event will be $300+40 and is likely to start pretty promptly in the afternoon.
The Cherokee Casino provides online registration for all of these tourneys. Online registration will not be accepted beyond midnight on the day prior to the scheduled event.
If players should register for the event after midnight players are supposed to register for the live event in person at the casino. You can refer the Cherokee website for further details.

Horseshoe Council Bluffs WSOP Circuit Event is one of the interesting features of the World Series of Poker Circuit series trail. The ladies will be taking their seats on February 15, 2009 on Sunday at 4 PM for the $200+35 event which will span over for two days.
On February 25, 2009, Wednesday, the $5,000+$150 buy in main event will start at 12:00 PM.
The winner will be eligible to participate in the World Series of Poker Main Event which is scheduled for July.
