WSOP Europe normally organized at Empire Casino, Leicester Square rescheduled to Casino Croisette in Cannes.
Several UK players upset by the change. Ever since the launch of WSOP Europe in 2007, it has been staged in Leicester, London. Of late, it is been changed to Casino Barrière de Cannes Croisette, South of France.
French Caesars Games and Interactive Entertainment, Lucien Barriere, and the WSOP have entered in to an agreement. Eventually, the WSOPE will be, staged in France for the forthcoming 3 years. more

Ladbrokes Poker
Online gaming company 888 holdings reported yesterday that they are confident that their rival Ladbrokes might take over their business following the improvement in the revenue of the business, per records of the fourth quarter.
There are however revolving rumors that Ladbrokes might not make the deal because the numbers are not as interesting. It has also been rumored the Lads have walked away from the deal due to lower bid.
Despite contradicting claims from various sources, the 888 holdings are hopeful about the take over talks. They continue to state that talks are progressing in the positive site. more

The final quarter papers for the financial year for 888 Holdings, the gambling giant listed at UK has proven a 5% gain.
The gambling giant also stated that talks are on with Ladsbrokes Plc. However, a mail that came around on Sunday informs that Ladbrokes, the UK bookmarker might not be agreeable with the talks for the bid being too low and they probably rejected the bid and walked away from the talks.
However, talks with Ladbrokes have revealed, “There’s still interest on both sides,” Chief Executive Officer Gigi Levy added “Our current numbers only make us more appealing.” more
