Poker Site Licenses through International Championship of Poker

The management team of the Everest Poker Site declared today that they have procured a gambling license as given by the European nation Malta. The Everest Poker Site has been the oldest of the sites since 1997, and the new license from the European Malta instills in hopes of being able to get wide recognition in the European Market.

The online Poker site Poker Stars also declared that they are opening gates to the Italian players, because they have procured an official permission to permit real money playing for Italian residents and Italian IP address. Notably, Poker Stars is the first site to get a legal approval from the Italian Government.

Italian residents are being accepted for real money plays at the Poker Stars site since February 25, 2009, the certification is from the Italian Monopolies of State. The buy ins range from € 0.50 to € 100.

With a global trend in licensing of poker site proceeds, the International Poker Network also known as the Boss Media has declared the ICOP, which is the International Championship of Poker which will be organized from March 9, 2009 through March 15, 2009.
