The impressive “PokerStars Macau at the Grand Lisboa” live poker room will be inaugurated on Thursday, March 19, 2009. The room after being inaugurated will be the largest ever poker room in Asia.
The PokerStars Macau at the Grand Lisboa will be situated in the second floor of Grand Lisboa Casino in central Macau. The room will be providing with round the clock poker gaming and it will accommodate 22 tables.
Several tourneys and special poker occasions will be housed by the rooms. Macau Poker Cup has been planned to be organized regularly and it is expected to be organized in alternate months. Apart from hosting such events, these rooms will also be hosting the annual plans of the Pokerstars.com like the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) for the Macau Poker Festival. The room is also being launched with ideas to provide with freerolls. Also several other events are being planned to suit beginner, intermediate and advanced level poker skills. Online registration for these events will also be made available.
Exclusive events are being put forth for the inaugural weekend’s festivities between March 19, 2009 and March 22, 2009. The characteristic “Red Dragon” event will also be inaugurated for the HKD 10,000 buy-in. The lucrative launch of the “Red Dragon” tourney is organized with a HKD 500,000 guarantee. Of the other events are the charity events which will be of use to Caritas Macau, where the buy in will be for HKD 1,000.
