Pokerroom.com is one of the oldest sites on the web. It has been online since 1999. They are one of the few sites that can be played with webtv and can be played without downloading. Although recently thaey have added a downloadable version with better graphics. The non downloadable version is done with Java. Pokerroom.com has several loyal players as many of the old timers started out there. Pokerroom.com has constantly been upgrading and improving their software. Pokerroom.com reminds me of Binions. It may not be the best on the net, but it certainly is legendary. It is a really good site for anyone who wants a good Texas Holdem game.

Pokerroom offers excellent service and they are one of the fewer sites that offers 24 hour live chat support. You can chat live with an operator online with any questions you may have. Regarding their cashouts, they are amongst the fastest to pay in the industry. If your looking to get into a game right away without downloading, then Pokerroom is the site for you. Likewise if your connection speed is slow Pokerrom is much better for you. Pokerrooms graphics have gotten better in the last year and now rival some of the best sites out there with their downloadable version. They do have some pretty neat and detailed characters sitting at the table but you have no real choice in who you can be. It is dependant upon where you sit, similar to PartyPoker. All of the graphics are clearly visible including the chip stacks, cards, and action buttons. Their software is easy to use, and very fast without delays.
