Poker table plans are available in different shapes and sizes depending upon your space. You could perhaps build a poker table in a day and a half by yourself. All you need are a few tools that you probably already own. The beauty is that you can create your own poker table for under $200. If you were to go out and purchase a comparable table from a gaming supply company you would shell out well over $2000.
Before you buy anything you better make sure you know exactly what color and design you want the playing surface and rail to be which are matching to the room. The shape of the table may be octagon, ellipse, square, rectangle depending upon your taste.
The size of the table varies from 200cm to 640 cm on length side and from 200cm to 480cm on the width. Normally, all prefer an elliptical or oval shape table. First make the wood work to the specific dimensions of the play area and the rail. Next step is to upholster the poker table. Select a cloth with a suitable color and fabric. First fix a foam and use ¼”, ½” foam for giving a cushioning effect.
Then fix the table felt on the foam and fix firmly on the table without making any wrinkle. The same way, you can fix the padding on the hand rail. Next step is to fix the hand rail with the table. After that, the table has to be fitted with the legs and paint them.
Finally, you have to provide the poker accessories, viz., playing cards, poker chips, casino cup-holders, chairs, and other accessories.
