Flop with strong hands Played agressively
Filed Under poker tipsIt experienced that, for many people who are professional and more skilled, it is obvious to be aggressive on the flop with some strong hands. But for the beginners, who are just in a stage of learning the game, consider it to be a solid guidance. When someone is looking for betting, raising and reraising on the flop, he should come out to fire with his strong hands.
At the time of small or medium flush
If someone is having 8h and 10h and the flop on the table is Kh, 7h and 3h, he should start to raise on the flop. It has the benefit of the three things: [1] it gains him money from the people who are having few or no outs, [2] it gains him money from the people who are going to draw and [3] there can be some dangerous hands to be pushed out of the pot. On the third point, many people may get surprised about this tactic that it will truly push the risky hands out of the pot.
It is very well known to all that a person having an Ah in the hole, will call for betting and raising on the flop because he is having the nut draw. It cannot be disagreed. But at times, there becomes no Ah or Qh in the hole cards of anyone. Though, one player might be having Jh. Now it is his actual danger while playing for this pot. If he is holding Jh on this flop and there becomes a betting and raising in front of him, it would be extremely complicated to expect it to be good if it is hitting. Thus, many opponents (even who are fairly loosing) will be disposed of folding too much extent.
This is the thing exactly wanted by a player when he becomes aggressive on this type of flop. It can be considered that every player cannot go to obtain top two draws of flush out of the pot. But with respect to the fact that anyone is not always up against his opponents possessing either of the two cards, he want to put the stress on the hands remaining that could be able to beat him. He used to recall a number of pots where he had flopped out a small size of flush with 5 to 6 suited or something similar to that and turn out to be very aggressive on the pot. Two opponents folding behind him and when a 4h comes on the river and he showdown his hand, he’ll still become the winner. The opponent who was calling him on the flop and turn had a better hand, but not any heart at all. An opponent who had folded onto the flop hits the table and says that he threw away the Jh, 10h and 9h and etc. But because he had raised on the flop, the opponents think that either he or the player who is betting having an ace with extreme flush draw. While, majority of the players are quite smart for folding when they believe that they have drawn dead, while playing aggressively on the flop in such type of situations, it can prove much beneficial. In this situation they will even occasionally, throw away a Q high flush draw. But it depends upon their aggressiveness.
