- You can break A-K-Q-J when! When you are getting a jack or queen of the same suit or for a 3 same suited high rank cards or for any same-suit high cards.
- Retain a ten! When you happen to hold a queen or jack that is of the same suit or when you happen to hold a king same suit without a penalty card.

- Do not play in machines that have very high house odds, especially in machines that you very less for winning.
- Do not retain a very high card in combination with a pair.
- Combinations like J-Q-K-A have just one finish with a 10 to complete a straight, it is quite difficult to draw such unless you have four cards that are very highly ranked and that is quite rare.
Four cards to a royal flush is the best possible hand that you can hold, and high cards are the worse possible hands that you can hold with a hope to improve with expert skills or machine luck!
