Hi/Lo Omaha poker is a split poker game to be played with high and low pot limits. If there becomes a low hand well qualifying to win the pot, two winners can be existed there. The pot would be split up by the player having the supreme hand along with the player having the poor hand. The split game of hi-lo Omaha poker is also known as Omaha 8 or Better. There must not be any card higher than eight in a hand of five cards so as to get a qualifying hand for lo-Omaha. As in Omaha poker one must be using two cards from his hand, on board three cards must be there, which are 8 or lower. Highest hand would definitely be the winner unless there is any hand qualifying for low.

High-Low split game of Omaha is also a very popular version of different games of Omaha poker. Its basic rules are as similar to Omaha holdem game, which is based on the rules of Texas holdem poker. Still there arise some variations for making the game more interesting and active.

In hi-lo Omaha poker games, the pot has to be split between hi and lo hand and for declaring these hands, same cards can be used.

Hi and lo both halves of a certain pot may be won by a single hand. A frequent example of this is The Wheel is the frequent example regarding this; comprised of an Ace, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

The best hand qualified for hi wins the game unless there is any hand qualified for lo.

Any odd chip might be received by hi hand when the pot is to be divided.
