Here’s an interesting variation of last weeks Game of the Week sent to us by “sydney”.
My friends and I have always played “Guts” at our home poker games. However, we have always played it as a three card game. Everything else you described is the same–no straights/flushes.
We also just hold our cards over the table, let the dealer count out “one, two, three, GUTS!!!”, and on the word “guts” we either hold or drop our cards. more

Bluffing should be like intake of vegetables. It is good for you even if it is somewhat distasteful.

We need to play particularly tight in the early stage for most sit-and-go tournaments in holdem poker.
The risk involved in the prize ratio is too high and you need to sit back and play only strong starting hands.

Poker bluffs might be demanding for those that are waiting another card in the next draw in poker games.
When such players are shot with expert bluffs, they might expect that their card is previously blocked in the bettor’s pockets and might even fold.
In poker tournaments sometimes a couple of re-raises might make them consider that the bettor has a good hand and they may feel that the price they will have to pay out for the information of the next card is too much and they might fold without behind you to see their hand to improve anymore. more
