Strategizing your Poker Game

Undoubtedly poker still remains as the most popular card game in US. In order for you to play it well a strategy centered gameplan should be developed first. So how do we develop this strategy? Well a poker theorem developed by David Sklansky in the US holds ground among the other knowledgeable players who has their own techniques.
To understand this theorem we will just look into some basic factors of poker, the deals, card combinations, and probability of winning. It has something to with how you react with every hand you are getting, the decisions you make, and importantly the consistency of the decision you are calling as you play along. The basic premise is as simple as this; the more correct decision you make the more money you make and the more wrong decision your opponents make the more money you also make. This is basically mathematics; so with this knowledge risk could be calculated. This risk factor will vary from deal to deal; but as you have finite set of cards and fixed number of winning combinations then, technically, calculations will be possible to do.
Another fundamental theorem in poker is what they call “implicit collusion”. This could happen when the movement or trend in a particular game environment is locked between two forces; a strong hands against the collection of weaker hands. When implicit collusion happens, one may bluff, raise bet, and so on and so forth. But the choice of tactic that will be applied is all based on calculation of probabilities. Of course there is no set of rules available for us to perform the calculations as the circumstances differ in each round. The calculation of risk and other factors will really depend on the kind of cards that are dealt and the kind of players you are playing against.
Another theorem out there is the “Morton Theorem”; this was developed and refined by an individual known as Andy Morton. This theorem is anchored on the “implicit collusion” principle that was earlier discussed as the folding up of players who has a weaker hand against the player with a stronger card in a particular round. This theorem is based again on the decision making process you will do. More implicitly it involves a focused decision on betting especially on multi-way pots.
An important factor in poker is what experts and strategists call as “pot odds”. This is simply the ratio between the full pot value and the call value. This is useful information in calculating the risk involved in a particular round of poker.
On the other hand poker probability deals with the percentage of a particular hand or combination that might come out in every round. Poker probability is very important in employing the right strategy during a game. These figures are very important in decision making. Probabilities could be calculated for the player to make a good decision through the rounds of poker that will be played; this will also reduce the risk of making bad calls and losing good calls.
