The Stud Variations
Almost in all type of Stud Poker games, an initial amount of poker cards are dealt by the players along with an additional card every time at the completion of a betting round till the dealing of seven or five cards in five or seven card stud game simultaneously. In some of the variants of stud poker game, players have to deal with all of their poker cards in the beginning and then their cards are revealed by them at a certain time permitted to them for the opening of the cards at the rounds of betting.
Two to Seven Card Stud:
3 to 7 players can play this game with an initial deal as in 7-card stud poker game. The gameplay involves the counting of flushes and straights along with the high value of Aces. The lowest hand include 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7, hence the game is called two to seven card stud, where the game is won by the player having the lowest poker hand among all the players.
Seven’s take all:
Game can be played by 3 to 7 players initially dealing with 7 cards. Normally, it is played as seven card stud with no wild cards excepting a 7’s pair as a highest possible poker hand. Three seven’s are not allowed in the game anywhere in the seven cards. There counted only one pair. There will be an interesting situation when players dealing up with seven.
Baltimore (Low Chicago Stud):
4 to 7 players are required to play the game with an initial deal as in the game of seven card stud poker. Gameplay is also like 7-cards stud. Pot is split by the high hand as well as the low spade in hole cards. Addition of wild cards can make standard variations into the game.
